MERCED, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Merced community is on edge after a mountain lion was caught on camera roaming through a neighborhood on the north edge of town, just a few miles from UC Merced.
Ring camera footage was captured near Pickworth Court and Andrea Drive just after 4 am.
El Capitan High School shared a message with parents urging them to be alert and use caution, adding that there are extra safety measures in place Thursday to keep students safe.
