FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- People looking to support a local animal organization will have an opportunity to do so at an upcoming paint party fundraiser.
The Paint for a Purpose fundraiser is scheduled for Friday, August 14. Attendees will receive step-by-step guidance to create a painting of a dog wearing sunglasses.
The event costs $50 per person and a portion of the proceeds will benefit Valley Animal Center.
Organizers describe the gathering as a paint party rather than a paint class. The event will feature upbeat music and participants will be provided with pre-stretched canvases. A party paint host will lead instruction.
Attendees are encouraged to arrive early at Valley Animal Center, as painting is set to begin at 6 p.m.
