Shots fired during vigil in Merced; no one injured, police say

MERCED, Calif. (KFSN) -- Merced Police confirmed with Action News that shots were fired during a vigil.

It happened near the Merced County Behavioral Health and Recovery Services off 13th and D Street in Merced.

Police say no one was hit, and there is no evidence that anyone was shooting at a specific person.

It is not confirmed who the vigil was for at this time.

This is in the same area where two 15-year-olds were shot and killed on Monday night.



No arrests have been made in that case.
