Suspect arrested for deadly shooting of two 15-year-olds in northeast Fresno, police say

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A suspect has been arrested in connection to the deadly shooting of two teenagers in northeast Fresno.

Police took 25-year-old Lelan Lee into custody on Thursday on multiple charges.

The shooting happened before 1:30 am on March 23 near San Jose and 4th, just a block away from an elementary school and Hoover High School.

Detectives say the group of four teens was targeted when they were walking.



Two 15-year-olds were killed in the shooting. A 14-year-old was also shot but survived.

These were the 8th and 9th homicides in the city of Fresno this year.

Lee was booked into the Fresno County Jail.
