Teen dies after running stop sign, crashing into PG&E truck in Tulare County, CHP says

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A teen is dead following a crash involving a PG&E truck in Tulare County.

The crash happened just before 1 p.m. Thursday on Avenue 424 and Road 120, just north of Orosi.

The California Highway Patrol says the teen ran a stop sign and crashed into a PG&E crane truck.

The teenage driver died at the scene and was not wearing a seatbelt.

The driver of the PG&E truck sustained serious injuries and was taken to the hospital.



Alcohol or drugs are not suspected factors in the crash.
