FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A trial date is now confirmed for the suspected getaway driver in the murder of Clovis teen Calab Quick.

Proceedings are scheduled to begin July 28 at the Fresno County Superior Courthouse.

The trial is expected to take about two weeks.

In May, a judge ruled the teen girl accused in connection with Quick's killing at a Clovis McDonald's will not stand trial as an adult.

If the allegations against the suspect are proven to be true, she would be rehabilitated in juvenile hall.

Prosecutors say the teen's boyfriend is the alleged shooter.

His transfer hearing is set to begin September 1 to determine if he will stand trial as an adult or could be rehabilitated in juvenile hall.
