All Tulare County deputies return following death of Deputy Randy Hoppert

TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- Tulare County Sheriff Mike Boudreaux says all Tulare County Deputies have returned to work following the death of Deputy Randy Hoppert.

Thirty-five deputies were placed on administrative leave following the deadly shooting on April 9.

Deputy Hoppert was killed in the line of duty while responding to a call for support.

It was after an eviction notice was served to 59-year-old David Morales that shots were fired at officers.



Detective Hoppert will be laid to rest on April 28.

A public viewing will be held on April 27 at Visalia First Assembly.
