During last week's funeral for fallen deputy Hoppert, Tulare County Sheriff Mike Boudreaux said the deputy's name had already been etched into the monument.
Hoppert died during a shootout in Porterville on April 9.
The public is invited to attend Wednesday's ceremony at 9 am.
It will be held at the Peace Officer Memorial Monument on the northwest corner of Burrel Avenue and Woodland Street in Visalia.
The ceremony will include musical performances, a flyover, wreath and flower presentations, and more.
