A South Valley girl was remembered with an honor walk at Valley Children's Hospital as she was escorted to her final resting place, surrounded by family, friends and hospital staff.
Isabella was hit by a car in Porterville on Sunday.
On Thursday, her sixth birthday, Valley Children's Hospital staff joined Isabella's loved ones to line the halls for an "honor walk," a ceremony recognizing organ donation.
Hospital chaplains prayed over Isabella at the end of the honor walk.
During the ceremony, her family shared memories of her love for unicorns, mermaids and chocolate.
Those gathered then sang "Happy Birthday" in both English and Spanish.
Valley Children's staff said at least six to eight people are expected to receive life-saving organ donations because of Isabella's gifts.
Up to 72 more people are expected to benefit from her tissue donation.
