FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A vehicle collision with a power pole has knocked out power to thousands.
The accident happened on Tulare Avenue and 9th Street.

Fresno Police said the man driving the car took off and it is not clear why he hit the pole.
PG&E is monitoring the situation.
