Shot in the world famous Jellyfish Lake, located on Eil Malk island within the country of Palau, the lake is a popular snorkeling destination for tourists. Though the native Golden Jellyfish seen here do sting, their stinging cells are generally not powerful enough to harm humans. This grants brave tourists a once in a lifetime opportunity to be up close and personal with such extraordinary creatures.
The small lake, which connects to the Pacific Ocean, is home to millions of Golden Jellyfish who migrate across the lake every day.
