No matter if you are young or old, it's hard to deny the impact our moms have had on our lives. Just in time for Mother's Day, a new video is showing how women of different ages respond when they hear the word "mother."

Cut.com invited women from age 5 to age 50 and asked them each to respond to one simple word: "Mother."

While none of the responses were identical, each woman shared her poignant and heartfelt thoughts on how their mom impacted and influenced her life.
