It happened just after 8 pm Monday on Channing and Florence.
Police arrived to find a woman with a possible broken leg.
She was treated at the scene and taken to a nearby hospital.
Officers say the driver is suspected of driving under the influence.
Traffic units are investigating to see if the driver was DUI.
