YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK, Calif. (KFSN) -- Yosemite National Park rangers announced that year-round fishing is now available to the public in the Valley and in places like Hetch Hetchy.
The move expands opportunities for fishermen with California fishing rules.
Seasonal closures have been removed that previously restricted access to winter fishing.
Those who head to Hetch Hetchy are reminded to exercise caution while moving around the rocky waterline of the reservoir.
Be aware that parking is limited, so have a plan before you go.
