Police got a call just after 9:30 pm Tuesday of an armed man on 11th and North.

They received a second call moments later about the same man at 13th and F Street.

That's when Reedley Police got word that an older woman was shot on E Street.

Police then received another call of another gunshot victim around the corner on Evening Glow and Sunset.

The victim, later identified as 52-year-old Alfredo Salcedo Cuevas, died at the scene.

Soon after, officers saw the man fitting the description of the shooter at Haney and Springfield going into the Riverland Apartments on foot.

Police tried to contact him -- that's when the suspect, 20-year-old Moises Tellez, fired at officers.

Three officers shot at Tellez, who died at the scene.

While the shooting with officers took place, police received another call about a third shooting victim on the 700 block of East Ponderosa.

"That's a little bit of a distance from here, so what we're trying to figure out right now is if that's where he was actually shot, or if maybe he was in this area and he was transferred up into that area," said Tony Botti, a spokesman with Fresno County Sheriff's Office.

Officials say Tellez was known to law enforcement and had a lengthy criminal history.

Salcedo Cuevas' murder is the first homicide in the city this year.

A GoFundMe account has been set up to help Salcedo Cuevas' family.

The Fresno County Sheriff's Office is handling the shooting of the suspect, while Reedley Police handle the other shootings that took place.
