Rental prices increases 2% over the last year in Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Rent for apartments and other properties in Fresno has managed to remain flat over the past month.

However, in comparison to the same time last year, people are paying about 2% more, according the "Housing Economist, Apartment List."

Right now, the median rent for a two-bedroom place in Fresno is about $1,030.

That's below the national average of $1,180.

Real estate experts point out that over the past year, rental prices have increased across the entire state.
