LINDSAY, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Rite Aid in Lindsay has reopened after a vehicle crashed into the front doors overnight.

Surveillance video from Friday morning shows the moments a white Ford pickup truck takes off after ramming into the store's entrance.

Lindsay Police Department received a call around 3:30 in the morning.

Within minutes, police arrived at the store.

They found extensive damage had been done, and the suspects had already taken off in the same pickup truck they had used.

"Through further investigation, we were able to determine the vehicle used had been a vehicle that was stolen and had not yet been reported, it has since been recovered by a separate agency," explained Lindsay Police Sergeant Chris Dempsie.

The entrance was boarded up with wood, as the storefront's glass was completely shattered and taken out.

The store was forced to close down for most of the day.

People picking up their prescriptions were redirected to local pharmacies.

Ethan McKenny is a Lindsay Resident and was hoping to pick up his prescription Friday morning,

"Now we have to go all the way to Exeter or Porterville to get my medicine which is pretty difficult because it's so far, with gas prices and everything," said McKenny.

The pharmacy is one of the few in the area.

Maria Acosta depends on the closeness of it.

She says it's easier here because sometimes she doesn't have transportation to go elsewhere.

As of Saturday, Rite Aid has reopened.

The investigation continues to be ongoing and police are still looking for the two suspects involved.
