Investigators have not confirmed this just yet but believe the victim is a 17-year-old.
Emergency responders took the young man to Community Regional Medical Center, where they say he is in critical condition.
"This is not a random shooting. We believe both the suspect and the victim knew each other. At this time, I can't confirm their relationship. We are still trying to determine that ourselves, but it is not random. " said Lt. Rob Beck.
Investigators say there were other people at the home when the shooting happened.
They are investigating those witnesses right now, including a person of interest.
