Bakersfield off-duty officer injured during shooting at Las Vegas concert

LAS VEGAS (KFSN) -- The Bakersfield Police Department said that several of their off-duty officers were attending the Route 91 Harvest Festival when a gunman opened fire-- one was hit.

The Police Department said those off-duty officers witnessed the shooting however they were not in a position to return fire.

We know that one of those officers was hit by a bullet and taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, but it is unclear where that officer was it.

The Nevada County Sheriff's Office said at least 50 people have been killed and more than 400 injured.
