Local volunteers return to Fresno after helping Hurricane Harvey victims

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- In the wake of Hurricane Harvey, Keller Williams reality decided to change their national convention in Austin into relief efforts.

Local realtors flew to the disaster area to aid with restoring homes damaged by flooding, working at animal shelters and clearing debris.

Each day, volunteers needed to take a two to three-hour bus ride into Houston and other devastated cities to support those in need at 73 different job sites.

"It feels really good being part of a company that has an army of people willing to help," one volunteer said. "And it's nice to know we work for a company that would help if we need it here.

While working on Hurricane Harvey relief, Keller Williams volunteers have also begun working to provide materials for Hurricane Irma as well.
