Fresno fire crews among those still battling Thomas Fire in SoCal

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Firefighters are still working to gain control of the Thomas Fire burning in Southern California.

As of Wednesday morning fire crews now have the flames 25-percent contained.

The fire in Santa Barbara County has burned more than 237,000 acres and continues to threaten 18,000 structures.

There are currently 25 members of the Fresno Fire Department helping crews down south battle those flames.

The Thomas Fire has destroyed more than 900 structures in just nine days.
