Chef Shayna's Fall Sangria and Thanksgiving decoration tips

FRESNO, California (KFSN) -- How you can get creative and impress your guests on Thanksgiving.

Fall Sangria:

2 honey crisp apples, sliced
1 orange, sliced
1 bottle red wine, a Spanish varietal or Pinot Noir
1 3/4 cup Apple Cider
1/2 Cup Brandy
1/4 Cup Orange Juice

3 cinnamon sticks, plus more for garnish

Combine all ingredients into a pitcher. Let set in fridge for a minimum or 4 hours up to overnight.
Serve with or without fruit in each glass. Garnish with Cinnamon stick & slice of apple.

For added touch (not on segment): Rim each glass with cinnamon & sugar

Serves 6.

Thanksgiving Table Decoration:

A few guidelines I follow when putting together a table arrangement:

1. Neutral Base- White plates, neutral runner

2. Color Pop- Gold Charges & Flatware

3. Element of Nature: Pomegranate theme with greenery in center of table & pomegranate as table marker.

4. Texture: Linen napkins sandwiches between the dinner plate & salad plate.
