Restrooms, trash removal at Yosemite hit by government shutdown

Friday, December 28, 2018
FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Visitors travelling to Yosemite National Park for the holiday weekend may begin to feel the impacts of the government shutdown.

Due to reduced staffing, park officials say visitor services, especially trash removal and restrooms -- are limited.

Portable restrooms have now been installed to assist with the high number of visitors expected to come to the park this weekend.

Lodging, dining, retail stores and the Yosemite Ski and Snowboard areas will remain open.
