Officials closed the eastern part late Friday night over concern of possible flooding from the Merced River.
It runs through the Valley, forcing the closure of several popular tourist destinations and campgrounds.
It was anticipated the closure would last through Wednesday, but the river levels have been much lower than expected.
Some impacted services were opened Sunday for day use and Monday at 7 am, all are expected to re-open.
