Officers were called to "Sam's Pizza" on Olive and Chestnut Avenues just after 5 pm Sunday for reports of two cars shooting at each other.
Investigators learned that there was a fight in the parking lot and the groups involved sped off.
A man and two women in a black Lexus were stopped by officers.
The man told police he was shot at and officers saw what appeared to be a bullet hole in his pant leg pocket.
No one was reported injured.
The investigation is ongoing as police work to identify a suspect.
