Marc Anthony Lopez
Marc Anthony Lopez joined the Action News team in June of 2022. He started off as an intern and then was hired full-time as the weekend digital producer.

Prior to joining the ABC30 Action News team, Marc graduated from Fresno State and majored in Media, Communications and Journalism with an emphasis in broadcast journalism.

Marc has had experience in both print/digital journalism and broadcast journalism.

In broadcast journalism, he founded and executively produced Fresno State Focus's first sports magazine newscast, Focus on Sports. At the same time, he reported for and anchored the main newscast, Fresno State Focus.

In digital journalism, he was the Editor-In-Chief for the Los Medanos College Experience student newspaper and the Sports Editor at the Fresno State Collegian.

Marc grew up watching his local newscast in Richmond, Calif., every morning and night, where he fell in love with storytelling. Eventually, leading him to pursue a career in journalism where he could express that love.

Outside of staying up to date with the news, I love to spend time relaxing by playing video games, cooking and watching movies, TV shows and sports.
