It happened just before 9:30 p.m. Wednesday night on Fruit and Jensen.
Deputies said the victim was shot in the arm and taken to Community Regional Medical Center.
The suspect is still on the loose.
No description has been given at this time.
No one else was hurt and a motive for the attack is not yet known.
