Mall in North Carolina on lockdown after shooting, at least 1 injured, police say

DURHAM, North Carolina (KFSN) -- Police are investigating a shooting at Northgate Mall in Durham on Saturday.

Officers say the shooting happened in the parking lot in front of the movie theater around 5 p.m. The mall is still on lockdown.

A 21-year-old woman was injured and has been transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to officers.

Police believe the shooting was not random and are still searching for the person responsible.
