FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- On Memorial Day, we take time to pause and reflect, honoring the fallen service members who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
There are solemn tributes and heartfelt remembrances going on across Central California to remember our nation's lost soldiers.
This year marks the 62nd Memorial Day service at the Fresno Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Families and guests gathered to honor our local heroes.
American flags were placed throughout the cemetery as far as the eye can see, each of them dedicated to a fallen soldier.
