Fresno photographer creates inclusive studio space for families

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- For nearly two decades, a local mother and business owner has been using her photography skills to create an inclusive, supportive space for families across central California.

Photo Nursery Milestones began in 2008 in a small garage and at Fresno and Clovis community hospitals. Since then, it has grown into a studio serving families throughout the region.

"The thing that I hear the most is that 'We never knew you existed. We wish we knew. We wish we had this," said Tiffany Bremer, photographer and studio owner. "I just want to make parents' lives easier and make it a comfortable place for people to go."

Bremer said her goal is to provide an all-inclusive environment, especially for children with special needs.

"I photograph children with a lot of special needs, autism, handicaps of different types," she said. "I love having children with challenges is what they say, but they are really limitless."

Her studio is designed to meet a wide range of needs, including sensory sensitivities.

"If they don't like bright lights, the bright lights turn off. The color of the light, the shade will change. We will not have noise. I will schedule them at a time that I have no other clients coming in. If necessary, I will do whatever it takes to make sure that they're comfortable when they walk through my door. It's not just another unit sitting in front of my camera." Bremer said.

She also offers families convenience by providing clothing for photo sessions. Bremer said convenience is central to her work.

The studio features rotating sets, with new designs created regularly. In addition to children's portraits, the studio offers a variety of photography services, including headshots, senior portraits, milestone celebrations, adult birthdays and more.

Families say the studio has played a role in documenting important moments over the years.

"I always get to talk about new things, about my life, to her, and I just feel at home here," said Brooklyn Domenici.

Her family has filled their home with photos from the studio.

"They go all down our hallway for older photos. We have a bunch of family photos hung up all over," said parent Kelli Domenici.

Beyond the studio, Bremer is also helping to inspire the next generation. She teaches photography to local students with autism through the nonprofit Limitless Abilities.

Through her work behind the lens and in the community, Bremer continues to focus on creating a supportive space for families and capturing meaningful moments.
