The twins, who recently graduated from eighth grade, have received six Division I offers, according to Buchanan High School head coach Adam Wall.
"Yeah, the word's getting out about their game and how they play," Wall said.
Iman and Jihan, both 6-foot-1, have spent years competing in travel basketball, participating in twice-daily workouts and training in high-level practices. Their dedication has translated into success on the court against top competition.
"One time we were shopping and someone was like: 'Oh are you shopping for college?' I was like, 'I'm in eighth grade,' and they were like, ' What the heck," the twins said.
The sisters said they have often stood out while competing against other teams.
"We would play against people and like the competition would be so easy we'd be like blowing everyone out and then like we would have a name for ourselves we would be like 'Oh the twins are playing,'" Jihan said.
The pair have also embraced being recruited together, describing themselves as a "package deal" when talking with Division I coaches.
"They're gonna get the whole package if they get both of us. If they need a post player, one of us can play. If they need someone outside, one of us can play it," Jihan said.
"They say we play hard - they like how we play and sometimes that's just all... what you need to see in someone," Iman said.
The twins will join Buchanan High School as freshmen this fall and are expected to play varsity basketball during the winter season under Wall.
"They concentrate on the work they put in every day. I'm going to be honest with you, the sky is the limit with these two girls," Wall said.
As they prepare to begin their high school careers, the twins say their success comes from working together, believing they are better as a team.
