MARIPOSA COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Mariposa County Sheriff's Office has announced it found a body it believes is missing Madera County woman, Wendy Pullins.
Mariposa County Sheriff Jeremy Briese announced the discovery in a news conference Friday afternoon.
Briese says detectives, with the help of the Mariposa County Sheriff's Office search and rescue team, found human remains on Nov. 29 in a remote area of the Sierra National Forrest.
There is no expected date on when DNA evidence can confirm the human remains as Pullins.

In June of 2022, Pullins was reported missing after not showing up to work.

Her jeep was later found in a rural area with her blood inside.

After an extensive search, her friend's son, Justin Bolton, was recently arrested and pleaded not guilty to the murder.
