Body recovered from Sanger canal

A body was recovered from a canal in Sanger on Thursday evening.
CAL FIRE/Fresno County Fire was called to the area of N Academy Ave and E McKinley Ave at about 8:15 pm after the man disappeared in the canal.
Fresno County Fire and Fresno Sheriff's deputies searched for him and located him approximately 1.5 miles from where he was last reported seen.
