60-year-old man dies after crashing into tree in southeast Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A 60-year-old man died Saturday morning in southeast Fresno after he crashed into a tree.

Authorities have identified him as Jeffrey Zoulek.

Fresno CHP officers responded to the scene on Butler near Sunnyside shortly before 9:30 am.

Authorities say Zoulek was driving west on Butler when he veered off the roadway and into a tree.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officials say it's possible Zoulek suffered from a medical emergency before the crash.
