Opa! Greek Fest takes over Central Fresno this weekend
The 56th annual Greek Fest is expected to draw thousands to Central Fresno.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The 56th annual Greek Fest is expected to draw thousands to Central Fresno.



The three day event celebrates Greek tradition and brings a glimpse into the culture and cuisine. This year they are back with even more food -- showcasing dozens of greek vendors, cooking demonstrations and wine tasting.



But the food is only half the fun. Live music, dancing and art will also be on display.

Greek Fest patrons are encouraged to avoid the lines at the gate and save money by purchasing tickets online in advance at fresnogreekfest.com.



Tickets are $5 when purchased online and $6 at the gate.



Children under 12 and seniors over 65 are FREE.


Buy a family 4-pack of tickets online and receive 1 FREE ticket.



Gift cards are available for purchase and can be used for all food and drinks at the event. Receive 1 FREE ticket with the purchase of a $25 gift card.



Admission is FREE with the donation of one canned food item Saturday from 11 A.M. - 4:30 P.M., and all day Sunday.
