Tom Hanks makes short video for Kerman High homecoming

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- After an intense social media campaign to bring actor Tom Hanks to Kerman High School for homecoming, the school announced he will not be in attendance.

Kerman High School announced that Tom Hanks will not be able to attend its homecoming celebration on Friday night because he is busy with his new movie. However, Hanks did film a short video for the school that will play at the Friday night football game on October 9th.

Kerman High School said it thanks Tom Hanks for his acknowledgement and consideration of the students' social media campaign.
