Firefighters battling heavy flames at boarded up house in Central Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Flames erupted at a boarded-up home on Illinois Avenue near Fresno Street.

They couldn't do a search because of the flames when they arrived, but they do not believe anyone was injured at this time.

Police are asking the public to avoid the area as crews continue to battle the flames.
