Federal officials say flu epidemic killed at least 30 children

The deadly flu epidemic spreading across the nation has now claimed the lives of at least 30 children according to the CDC.

The latest information released Friday shows at least 10 kids died between January 6 and January 13.

In Texas, the influenza outbreak is so severe that a school district north of Dallas, with about 2,000 students canceled classes through Tuesday.

Medical experts say this is the worst flu season we have had in the last 10 to 15 years.
