Man's body found in Fresno County canal

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Sheriff's deputies are investigating the discovery of a man's body in a Fresno County canal.

They say the body was found just before 4 a.m. near Shaw and Goldenrod just west of Biola.

Officers have shut down the intersection as they drain the canal to recover the man's body.

His identity is unknown at this time.
