FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Authorities have arrested a 17-year-old from Modesto in the foiled armed robbery of a Southeast Fresno jewelry store.

Fresno police say a school administrator called in one of the tips identifying two robbery suspects.

The 17-year-old suspect, who turned himself in to police, is the one who was wearing a Hollister T-shirt, according to authorities. Officials have not released his name. The shirt he had on was recovered as evidence after a search warrant was served in Modesto.

The suspect who had the black shirt on is still being sought. Police have identified him as Edgar Yepez, 16, of Modesto. Officers say he should be considered armed and dangerous.
