4 people injured in shooting in Selma
According to police, four people were injured in a shooting near Park Street and Sheridan Street in Selma.

SELMA, Calif. (KFSN) -- According to police, four people were injured in a shooting near Park Street and Sheridan Street in Selma.

The shooting happened after 8:30 Tuesday night. Officer said that two groups of people got into an argument and one of the groups opened fired. Three victims were taken to the hospital and one only suffered minor injuries.

"It does not appear to be a random act. It did appear the victims were the intended targets. As I said, we are concerned about any violence and certainly any type of this type of violence is a major concern for us," said Greg Garner, Selma Police Chief.

One victim lived in the area but the other three were just visiting. Police believe everyone will be okay.

According to police, they believe two types of weapons were used.

Witnesses say a white van was seen leaving the scene after the shooting.
