Auberry man found dead inside burned-out mobile home

AUBERRY, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Fresno County coroner has identified a man found dead inside a burned-out mobile home. He is Tim Cox, 36, of Auberry.

Cal Fire responded to the fire around 2 a.m. Friday at SJ and E roads in Auberry. The trailer is located near the Mary Lou Mobile Home Park.

Once firefighters extinguished the flames, Fresno County sheriff's deputies came out and found Cox dead in a bedroom. Investigators say he was the only person in the trailer. Two of his dogs also died.

Cal Fire is now looking into the cause of the fire, but investigators say it appears to be an accident.
