Car smashes into Fresno eye doctor's office

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A car smashed into the front an eye doctor's office on Thursday, injuring two.

It happened at "20/20 Opto-Metric" on Blackstone Avenue near Shaw Avenue just after 9:30 a.m.

Police say a 67-year-old woman was parking her Honda Civic, when she failed to stop and drove through the front glass window. The driver was not injured, but two adults sitting in the waiting room received moderate injuries. One was injured by flying glass and the other complained of knee pain.

It's not known why the driver failed to stop. She cannot say what happened. Police say she had no restrictions on her license.
