KINGS COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- Kings County Sheriff's deputies are trying to figure out who stabbed three people at a large party south of Hanford.
The triple stabbing happened shortly before 2 a.m. Sunday near 10th and Kent avenues. Deputies say a large fight broke out during the party and three men were stabbed.
Emergency responders took one of the men to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno, and the others were driven in personal cars to Adventist Health Medical Center in Hanford.
"Since then we have learned that one of the individuals underwent surgery for his injuries but he appears to be in stable condition, as such with the other two individuals also," said Sgt. Chris Barsteceanu with the Kings County Sheriff's Office.
Authorities believe the stabbing may be gang-related, but they say that type of violence is very rare in the area where the party was held. They spent the morning interviewing at least 100 potential witnesses from the party.
Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact the Kings County Sheriff's Office at (559) 852-2720.
