TULARE COUNTY, Calif (KFSN) -- A stray dog who was recently brought into a South Valley animal shelter is literally twice as nosey.

The Border Collie mix was found on a rural road in Tulare County. He's now at the county's animal control facility. Shelter workers say the two-year-old dog who is not micro-chipped may be a stray or may have lost his way from a loving home.

Employees at the shelter said they've never seen a dog with what looks like two honkers.

"This is the first, he's unique. He was actually born like that because he doesn't have scar tissue on the top," said Paula Mendoza.

Employees at the shelter say the dog will be held at the facility for several days. If no one claims him, he'll be up for adoption on Monday.
