FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- According to the Fresno County Sheriff's office an inmate was discovered having committed suicide in his cell.
The Sheriff's Office said around 11:30 a.m. on Thursday a Fresno County Sheriff's correctional officer found inmate Manuel Servin Jr. unresponsive inside his cell during a routine check.
The investigation found that Servin hung himself with fabric in his cell.
In October Fresno Police arrested Servin for the attempted murders of his then pregnant wife and unborn child. His wife later died of her injuries and he was charged with Murder.
The baby was successfully delivered by doctors.
