Police look for man who stole money from Walmart register

FRESNO, California (KFSN) -- Police need your help finding a man who, they believe, ripped off a Walmart in Southeast Fresno.

Officers say the man, seen in a surveillance photo, was making a purchase in a checkout line when he noticed a slightly open cash drawer in the line next to him. Investigators say he reached over and grabbed a large sum of cash without anyone noticing.

They believe the suspect is a regular customer at this store and likely lives in the area.
