Police searching for driver in deadly hit-and-run in Northwest Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Police shut down the Figarden Loop in Northwest Fresno for several hours while they investigated a deadly hit-and-run crash.

Neighbors say they saw a body in the middle of the road after a crash early Sunday. They say the driver then took off.

The identity of the victim has not been released, and police have not released any suspect information.

The road has since been reopened.
