Police searching for driver in fatal hit-and-run crash

FRESNO, Calif. -- Fresno police are searching for the driver in a deadly hit-and-run crash.
Officers say a car slammed into the 56-year-old victim on Blackstone near McKinley just before 11:00 Saturday night and kept going.
Paramedics performed CPR on the man and rushed him to the hospital, where he died a short time later.
Authorities don't have a description of the vehicle, but the collision reconstruction unit is doing a detailed investigation.
The coroner's office is still working to notify the victim's family before releasing his name.
