Several small fires burn in Oakhurst

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Several small fires kept crews busy Wednesday in Oakhurst near Highway 41 and Road 425B at Deadwood Pass. Cal Fire says four separate spot fires were started along the road.

A photo from Sierra News Online shows some of the flames. ABC30 insider Allen Willhoite also sent us a photo that shows a plume of smoke in the sky.

Investigators believe the undercarriage of a car caught fire, igniting the flames, but the driver was not aware. All four fires have been contained. The largest one burned about two acres.
